Nadira is one of southeastern Michigan's premier belly dancers, a favorite of the Arabic community, and known for her unique Turkish-Arabic style. Nadira's love of Middle Eastern dance and music has endeared her to audiences from New York to Dearborn. Nadira has been praised for her dynamic style, grace, and musicality. Nadira entertains at weddings, birthday parties, and other private and corporate events, making each one a night to remember! Nadira performs with finger cymbals, veil, cane, Wings of Isis, folkloric and khaleegi styles, and her dramatic sword dance is not to be missed!

Nadira has studied with some of the finest dancers and teachers from New York to Michigan. Her skill as a performer and teacher is also enriched by her ballet and theater experience. Nadira began her training in belly dance with New York legend Serena Wilson and continued in the Turkish style with Anahid Sofian. Nadira devoted herself to the study of Egyptian Raks Sharki under Ranya of New York and danced for two seasons from 2004-05 with Ranya's Maqamikaze Dance Theater. In Michigan, Nadira continued her professional training in classical Arabic dance with Princess Madiha. Nadira has been teaching belly dance classes in Ann Arbor since 2006.
